Architect your voice.
Most dialect coaching relies on subjective listening. We rely on data. We connect professionals with elite coaches who use formant tracking, vowel space calculators, and phonetic biometrics to acquire exact accents.
The Math of Phonetics
An accent isn’t just an attitude; it’s a specific mathematical distribution of acoustic energy. The difference between a General American 'A' and a Southern 'A' is quantifiable in Hertz (F1 and F2 formants). If your coach is just telling you to "sound more relaxed," you are wasting your time.
Our marketplace vets coaches who understand the biometrics of speech. You don't guess. You measure, adjust, and lock in muscle memory.
Acoustic Targets (General American)
| Vowel | F1 (Hz) | F2 (Hz) |
|---|---|---|
| /i/ (fleece) | ~280 | ~2250 |
| /ɑ/ (father) | ~710 | ~1100 |
| /u/ (goose) | ~310 | ~870 |
Vowel Space Geometry
This is what an accent actually looks like. The vowel quadrangle maps tongue height (F1, inverse) against tongue backness (F2).
Popular Acquisitions
General American (GenAm)
The broadcasting standard. High rhoticity, merged cot-caught (in many subsets).
Preferred by international executives and actors requiring a neutral North American base.
Acquisition GuideReceived Pronunciation (RP)
Non-rhotic, specific trap-bath split, precise T-glottalization rules.
The traditional standard for British media and luxury brand representation.
Acquisition GuideTransatlantic (Mid-Atlantic)
Cultivated blend of GenAm and RP. T-tapping suppressed.
A revived aesthetic choice for founders seeking an idiosyncratic, authoritative voice.
Acquisition Guide01. Baseline Audit
We do not begin with practice sentences. We begin with a 10-page diagnostic report of your acoustic output. We measure your Vowel Space Area (VSA), your normalized Pairwise Variability Index (nPVI) for stress timing, and your exact formant frequencies for the 14 English vowels.
Cost: $250 flat. View details →
LOG: AUDIT_START
VSA: 210,000 Hz² [HYPOARTICULATED]
nPVI: 35.2 [SYLLABLE-TIMED]
RHOTICITY: F3-F2 = 900Hz [WEAK]

02. Target Selection
You choose the architectural blueprint. We map your current formants against the targets. This creates a literal roadmap—if your /i/ is at 2500Hz F2, and the target is 2200Hz, you must learn the physical sensation of moving your tongue dorsum backwards 300Hz.
03. Muscle Memory Locking
Our coaches utilize our 13 proprietary web tools during live sessions. You speak into your microphone, watch the Hz readout, and adjust your jaw, lips, and tongue until you hit the mathematical target. Then you repeat it 1,000 times.
